 RodiCare® Vita C supplements the diet with vitamin C. Unlike other mammals,
 Guinea pigs are not able to synthesize vitamin C themselves. A vitamin C deficiency can occur in the case of a vitamin deficiency.
 Vitamin C deficiency can occur with an unbalanced diet. Infections, digestive problems, stress, and tension can also increase the need for vitamin C in guinea pigs and small rodents. Excess vitamin C is eliminated by the kidneys.
