Our shelter's mission is to help domestic rabbits who are abused, injured and in need.

We are not financed by the government but by our personal savings and by donations.

Shelter rabbits are housed in pens throughout our house and garage. Most stray rabbits left in the wild where they cannot survive.

We deeply believe that a rabbit is not an object but a sentient being deserving of respect. Besides, like all the animals in this world.

We ask you to think carefully before filling out the form.

  • The rabbit I want abandoned will take the place of one of the 300 stray rabbits on the south shore of Quebec who are in need. Am I at peace with this?

  • Or can I ask a family member, friend to take care of it?

  • Can I find a family for him by posting on social media? (We recommend that you post clear photos of the rabbit describing its history and personality and the reason for abandonment)

  • Why am I abandoning the rabbit and how will the rabbit experience this abandonment?

Please note that the shelter dedicates 10 enclosures to rabbits in need. We will take in a rabbit only if we have a pen available.

The shelter does not tolerate any threat of euthanasia of the rabbit or of abandonment in nature because  the end is your conscience and it is our conscience that will live with the consequences of choices and decisions.

Surrender Form

Please note that the shelter dedicates 10 enclosures to rabbits in need.

We will take on a rabbit only if we have a pen available and if the demand meets our values.
